Speaking of local talent, we’re gearing up for CABIN FEVER FOLLIES. . . the fabulous 2012 Woodstock Area Community Showcase, which will take place on March 31st. So we’re calling all Woodstock and Upper Valley singers, dancers, musicians, poets, and filmmakers who would like to add their talents to the extravaganza. Over Presidents Day Weekend (Feb. 17-19), the Woodstock Village Green will be transformed into The Vermont Flurry — a celebration of winter and the visual arts.  
Cheer on professional snow sculpting teams as they compete to create large, stunning sculptures, and vote for your favorite “Peoples’ Choice” pick! Watch as these works of art come to life, try your hand at making your own snow creations, and enjoy warming fires and tasty refreshments provided by local organizations.
